As an undergraduate at Loyola College in Maryland, I studied Studio Arts and minored in this subject. The work presented was done during this time in classes ranging from Drawing and Graphic Design to Book Arts.

Digital Designs

These portraits were overlayed with text written by the sitter describing their "essence". The resulting images were transferred onto drawing paper using wintergreen oil and bound together in a book. This is shown in the final pictures.

Photographs of trees were taken, converted to black and white and transferred onto drawing paper to create this book using excerpts from Autumntime by A. Lentini. The book is bound in a hardwood cover using hinges and bolts to bind the pages together. The finished product is also shown below.
