HCI Portfolio / Anatrove.net
I worked on the Information Architecture for Anatrove.net as a favor to a friend, who is the creator and developer of the site. The concept behind the site was to create a repository of information about the quality of CD album liner notes. With the advent of iTunes and the ease of downloading music on the web, one of the few remaining benefits of buying old fashioned CDs is the print material that is included. However, sometimes this material just isn't worth the price. Thus, Anatrove.net was born, as a place where details about liner notes could be exchanged.
My contribution to the project as been to create wireframes of the essential layout of the information on the site. There are planned improvements involving more user details, such as tracking the list of albums a user has added, which I may explore in further designs.
